North Boone had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Jefferson J-Hawks by a score of 7-4 on Tuesday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the J-Hawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jefferson dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, North Boone is taking a road trip to take on Pecatonica at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dixon at 10:00 a.m. on March 29th.
