McLean's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Washington-Liberty Generals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Highlanders have posted since October 1, 2024.

McLean's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Washington-Liberty, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
