Baseball Recap: Boothbay Comes Up Short

Boothbay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Madison Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 16-5 loss on Monday.

Boothbay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Les White, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Boothbay's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Madison, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.

As of now, neither Boothbay nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
