Shoshone was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after falling to Hagerman. The Indians came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 27 last week.
The Pirates extended the longest winning streak in 1A Snake River (8 Man) this week by beating Shoshone, 68-22. The victory was the sixth in a row for Hagerman.
Hagerman's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pirates feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kade Kress has thrown for 1162 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Dillan Henslee has 17 catches for 497 yards. Kress also leads the league in rushing with 626 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Mark Kress' team and Butte County. The Pirates comes into the matchup ranked first in the state, while the Pirates ranks third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Hagerman takes on Butte County. The Pirates have allowed 62 points this season, while Sam Thorngren's team has given up 70. Hagerman allowed 22 points last week as it topped Mark Sant's team.
