Basketball Recap: Spencer Center Takes a Loss

Spencer Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. The match between them and the Shroder Paideia Academy Jaguars didn't end well, with Spencer Center falling 68-49. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Spencer Center this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-34 back in December of 2024.

Spencer Center's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Shroder Paideia Academy, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Spencer Center won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cincinnati College Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shroder Paideia Academy, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Riverview East Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Shroder Paideia Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
