            Softball Recap: Rockcastle County Rockets vs. Jackson County Generals        
        
		
        
        
            Rockcastle County won the last time they faced Jackson County and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Rockets walked away with  a   9-6  victory over the Generals. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Rockets.

 Rayleigh Hancock made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned  (and two unearned) runs off   ten  hits. Hancock was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  run. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Macy Spivey, who  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addi Lovell, who  went 3-for-5 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Rockcastle County was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .469. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Rockcastle County's win bumped their record up to 15-12-1. As for Jackson County, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record  this season.
 Rockcastle County will face off against Southwestern at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.7  runs per game this season. As for Jackson County, they will take on Leslie County at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
