Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Oak Park-River Forest's 15th in Last 16 Outings

Oak Park-River Forest had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Lyons Lions 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

Gus Leman had a dynamite game, getting 22 digs. Those 22 digs gave him a new career-high.

Oak Park-River Forest has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-4 record this season. As for Lyons, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 29-9 record.

Looking ahead, Oak Park-River Forest will challenge Sandburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. Lyons does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
