Football Recap: Krista Sebert Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Plattsburgh

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beekmantown, Northeastern Clinton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Plattsburgh Hornets by a score of 19-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-0 back in March.

Northeastern Clinton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Krista Sebert, who rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown.all of that, rushing production came thanks to one massive run Emma Guay also helped with two scores in total.

Northeastern Clinton's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6-1 and their overall record up to 4-6-1. As for Plattsburgh, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Northeastern Clinton will square off against Peru at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Plattsburgh will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' match: after the Cougars face off against the Nighthawks, they'll take on Plattsburgh again at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
