North Tama won the last time they faced Ames and things went their way on Saturday too. The Redhawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Little Cyclones.

North Tama's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Ames, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

North Tama has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Denver on the 30th. As for Ames, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Red Oak on the 30th.
