Baseball Game Preview: Hoover Tornados vs. Burbank Bulldogs

Hoover is 0-10 against Burbank since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. Hoover will face off against Burbank at 3:45 p.m.

Hoover fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Duarte on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 6-5. The Tornados' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Alex Weimar made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kieran Sinta, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Burbank beat de Toledo 4-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Burbank's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Hoover, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Hoover might still be hurting after the 30-0 loss they got from Burbank in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Hoover avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
