Volleyball Recap: Norton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Norton was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of North Attleborough on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lancers came up short against the Ashland Clockers on Friday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Norton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Ashland's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-23.

Quinn Herter had an outrageously good game for Ashland as she had 17 digs and six assists. That's the most assists Herter has posted since back in October of 2024.

Norton dropped their record down to 3-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Ashland, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
