Volleyball Recap: Norton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Norton was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of North Attleborough on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lancers came up short against the Ashland Clockers on Friday, falling 3-0. The Lancers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Clockers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Norton took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-23.

Quinn Herter had an outrageously good game for Ashland as she had 17 digs and six assists. That's the most assists Herter has posted since back in October of 2024.

Norton's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ashland, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Norton has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Medfield on the 6th. As for Ashland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Norwood on the 6th.
