Basketball Recap: St. John-Vianney's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

St. John-Vianney won the last time they faced Pioneer Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The St. John-Vianney Lancers walked away with a 59-49 win over the Pioneer Academy Eagles. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lancers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

St. John-Vianney's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Pioneer Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

St. John-Vianney has already played their next game (against Holmdel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pioneer Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Payne Tech at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
