Volleyball Recap: Isabella Garcia's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Mesa over Albuquerque

West Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Albuquerque Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 9th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-6.

West Mesa's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isabella Garcia, who had seven digs and six assists.

West Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Albuquerque, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

West Mesa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Atrisco Heritage Academy on the 30th. As for Albuquerque, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Los Lunas on the 6th.
