Baseball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Peters Township Indians. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 11, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Matthew Robaugh was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Trinity now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Peters Township, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-6.

Coming up, Trinity will venture away from home to square off against Waynesburg Central at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Hillers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Peters Township, they will face off against Freedom Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
