Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Blytheville's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Blytheville won the last time they faced Pocahontas and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blytheville Chickasaws came out on top against the Pocahontas Redskins by a score of 64-51. Given the Chickasaws' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Redskins are ranked 166th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Blytheville has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Pocahontas, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blytheville will head out to face off against Gosnell at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pocahontas, they will venture away from home to take on Westside at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
