Football Recap: Scott Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Scott entered their contest against Roane County on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Highlanders lost 28-3 to the Yellowjackets. The matchup marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Roane County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Scott will welcome Meigs County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Highlanders will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Roane County, after each having a week off, they and Rockwood will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Yellowjackets 13.7, the Tigers 14) so any points scored will be well earned.
