Volleyball Recap: Sundance Falls Short of Big Horn in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sundance can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Big Horn Rams on Saturday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Jaylin Mills paced Sundance's offense, picking up 19 kills. Mills got some help from Annika Haugen and her 23 assists. Mills was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Big Horn found their leader in sophomore Lilly Thomas, who had 22 digs and two assists.

With the defeat, Sundance broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 26-10. As for Big Horn, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 30-9.

As of now, neither Sundance nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
