Baseball Recap: Wheaton North Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wheaton North can now relate to. They fell just short of the Glenbard East Rams by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Falcons have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Wheaton North's defeat dropped their record down to 15-19-1. As for Glenbard East, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 24-8.

Wheaton North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glenbard East, they will take on Glenbard West at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
