Softball Recap: Redwood Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Redwood entered their tilt with El Diamante on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Miners. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 back in April.

Rayah Rodriguez was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two triples and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Cantu, who went 2-for-4 with one home run.

Redwood's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for El Diamante, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Redwood has already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Porterville on the 6th. As for El Diamante, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Monache on the 7th.
