Soccer Recap: West Fork Takes a Loss

West Fork lost against Kingwood Park back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The West Fork Gators lost 6-0 to the Kingwood Park Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 510th, while the Panthers are ranked 199th).

West Fork's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-12. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three matchups. As for Kingwood Park, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Coming up, West Fork will venture away from home to square off against Pasadena at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kingwood Park, they will take on Dayton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
