Colbin Garrison Delivers Best Performance of Season
Colbin Garrison produced his most outstanding game to date while leading San Luis Obispo to the win on Friday. Garrison's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
Unfortunately for Morro Bay, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Garrison. Garrison rushed for 133 yards and a pair of touchdowns the last time he and the Pirates duked it out back in September of 2024.

Nicholas Matautia's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Righetti over Arroyo Grande
Nicholas Matautia posted a new career-high in rushing touchdowns on Friday. He rushed for 88 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 54 yards.
Matautia might have his next game, a home matchup with Garces Memorial, circled on his calendar. Back in September of 2024 (the last time Matautia saw the Rams), he rushed for 51 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 146 yards and one TD.

Greyson Foy Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Santa Ynez got the W thanks in part to Greyson Foy playing the best football he has all season. Foy picked up 108 receiving yards and one touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 70 yards.
Foy is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Santa Maria on Friday. Back in September of 2024 (the last time Foy saw the Saints), he rushed for 83 yards and one score on only five carries.

A Season-Best Performance from Zion Hegg Leads San Luis Obispo over Morro Bay
San Luis Obispo was led to victory by Zion Hegg, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hegg rushed for 112 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
On the season, Hegg has thrown 2 touchdowns while averaging 40.8 passing yards per game.
