Basketball Recap: Cheboygan Comes Up Short

Cheboygan suffered their closest defeat since January 7th on Friday. They fell just short of the Boyne City Ramblers by a score of 50-48. The Chiefs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ramblers earlier this season, when they won 51-35.

Cheboygan has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Boyne City and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

Cheboygan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boyne City, they will challenge Kingsford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Kingsford's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 15 contests.
