Recap: Mililani Trojans vs. St. Louis Crusaders
On Wednesday, the Mililani Trojans faced the St. Louis Crusaders in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mililani fell 41-28 to St. Louis. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mililani has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Mililani saw an underclassman step up: Timothy Dorn scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Gabriel, who scored four points.
Mililani are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4. As for St. Louis, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Mililani is on the road again on Thursday and play against Kamehameha Kapalama at 12:00 p.m. on December 21st. Kamehameha Kapalama has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 302 points over their last five matches. St. Louis won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kamehameha Maui on December 21st.
