Wahoo won the last time they faced Douglas County West and Kip Brigham did his part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors really took it to the Falcon for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-14 victory thanks in part to Brigham, who rushed for 255 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 15.9 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Wahoo's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Douglas County West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wahoo will challenge rival Mount Michael Benedictine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Warriors 4.2, the Knights 11.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Douglas County West is set to face off against their familiar foe Concordia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
