Basketball Recap: Coram Deo Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Coram Deo Academy won the last time they faced Founders Classical Academy and Selah Johnson did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lions claimed a resounding 60-12 win over the Eagles for which the team can thank Johnson, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 25 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Coram Deo Academy's points.

Another player making a difference was Hadley Manack, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. She also put up a block, which was her first of the season.

Coram Deo Academy moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Founders Classical Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Coram Deo Academy will be playing at home against Pantego Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Founders Classical Academy, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Leadership Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
