Basketball Recap: West Essex Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the West Essex Knights came up short against the Fort Lee Bridgemen and fell 71-64. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Guy Vickers, who dropped a double-double with 33 points and 14 boards for Fort Lee. The dominant performance gave Vickers a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Erlich, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

West Essex's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Fort Lee, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

West Essex has already played their next contest (against Livingston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fort Lee also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Ridgefield Park.
