Baseball Recap: Kinston Comes Up Short

Kinston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the East Duplin Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 on Tuesday.

Kinston's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Duplin, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Kinston has already played their next game, an 18-0 defeat against North Lenoir on the 21st. As for East Duplin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-9 loss against Richlands on the 19th.
