Recap: Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders vs. Roane County Raiders
The Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders were the 52-30 winner over the Roane County Raiders when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Parkersburg Catholic fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 52-50.
Roane County was led to victory by Anna Tolley and Piper Harlan. Tolley scored 17 points along with two steals, while Harlan dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Tolley is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Braylin Bowe, who scored six points along with two steals.
Parkersburg Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Roane County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Parkersburg Catholic will head out on the road to challenge the Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Ravenswood will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Roane County, they will be playing at home against the Irish at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Charleston Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday.
