Fullington Academy had won two straight home games and Will Sangster did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Fullington Academy Trojans blew past the David Emanuel Academy Eagles, posting a 71-39 win thanks in part to Sangster, who went 11 of 17 en route to 28 points and eight rebounds. Sangster is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

Another player making a difference was Cutter Tharpe, who went 7 for 15 to rack up 18 points and five steals. He is becoming a predictor of Fullington Academy's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 2-1 (and 8-12 when he doesn't).

David Emanuel Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Revan Fortner, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Fortner a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Fields, who scored nine points.

Fullington Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points over those games. As for David Emanuel Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-14.

Fullington Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-31 victory against Crisp Academy on the 7th.
