Basketball Recap: Midlothian Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Midlothian duked it out with Midlothian Heritage on Friday. The matchup between the Panthers and the Jaguars didn't end well, with the Panthers falling 46-32. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Midlothian Heritage can attribute much of their success to Bri Finch, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Danaya Hicks, who put up 11 points.

Midlothian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Midlothian Heritage, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Midlothian will face off against rival Kaufman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Midlothian Heritage is set to take on their familiar foe Red Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
