It's playoff time, and Owensboro had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Pulaski County Maroons to the tune of 35-7 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won 12 contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Evan Hampton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 108 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was DaMarcus Ganaway Jr, who threw for 148 yards and one touchdown while completing 72.2% of his passes.

Owensboro didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Pulaski County to a completion percentage of just 35%. The team can thank Xavier Conrad for the heroic effort on defense: he. Owensboro hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.57 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Owensboro, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Tre Shemwell, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Despite the loss, Pulaski County still got an impressive performance from Kasen Brock, who rushed for 90 yards and one score.

Owensboro's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.4 points on average over those games. As for Pulaski County, they moved to 12-3 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
