Football Recap: Owensboro Piles Up the Points Against Pulaski County + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Owensboro rose to the challenge on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 35-7 victory over the Pulaski County Maroons. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Evan Hampton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 108 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.

Owensboro didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Pulaski County to a completion percentage of just 35%. The Red Devils hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.57 or higher in three consecutive games.

Owensboro didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tee Green and Amar'E Roney.

Despite the loss, Pulaski County still got an impressive performance from Kasen Brock, who rushed for 90 yards and one TD.

Owensboro's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.4 points over those games. As for Pulaski County, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3.

As of now, neither Owensboro nor the Maroons have any future games scheduled.
