Algonac extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 4-6. They put the hurt on Everest Collegiate with a sharp 14-1 victory. That 13-run margin sets a new team best for the Muskrats this season.

As for Everest Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Algonac: they've now lost three in a row.

For Everest Collegiate's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Denver, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. That hit was Denver's first of the season.

Coming up, Algonac will host Capac at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Everest Collegiate, they will challenge Holly at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
