Basketball Game Preview: California City Ravens vs. Exeter Monarchs

California City is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Kennedy by a score of 65-52.

California City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cassius 'Hollywood' Brown, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Brown's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Avery 'Skywalker' Spears was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 19 boards.

California City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Exeter had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 54-31 win.

California City's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.3 points over those games. As for Exeter, their win bumped their record up to 21-6.
