Strathmore entered their tilt with Woodlake on Wednesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Strathmore walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 26-24, 25-15.

Strathmore was led to victory by Lily Valdez and Tylie Dement. Valdez had six digs and four assists, while Dement had seven digs. Those four assists gave Valdez a new career-high.

Strathmore's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Woodlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-15-1.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Strathmore and Corcoran will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodlake, they will challenge Farmersville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
