Basketball Game Preview: Christ the King Crusaders vs. Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots

The Christ the King Crusaders will square off against the Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Christ the King is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season.

Christ the King is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Pine Lake Prep on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Christ the King came up short against Pine Lake Prep, falling 72-48. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Pride recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Christ the King might have lost, but man, Andrew Reimels was a machine: he went 7 for 12from beyond the arc on his way to 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Gorman, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy suffered their closest loss since February 15th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Gospel Light Christian by a score of 54-51. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christ the King now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
