Greenbrier won the last time they faced Portland and things went their way on Friday too. The Greenbrier Bobcats skirted past the Portland Panthers 64-61. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bobcats have posted against the Panthers since February 8, 2022.

Tristan Calvert and Keilen Dalton certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Calvert went 6-for-13 en route to 12 points, while Dalton went 7-for-9 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds. Dalton's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Quenten Totten, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 13 points.

Greenbrier's victory bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Portland, their record is now 12-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenbrier will take on Liberty Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Liberty Creek will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Greenbrier surely won't give up without a fight. As for Portland, they will look to defend their home court on February 22nd against White House at 7:30 p.m. Portland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.
