Edinburg North won the last time they faced Economedes and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Jaguars. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Destany Bermudez made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Bermudez was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024.
