Totino-Grace had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victor by a 78-52 margin over the Monticello Magic on Thursday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Monticello lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jackson Soroko, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least 17 points. Brayden Dollard was another key player, putting up 11 points and five rebounds.

The win was the ninth in a row for Totino-Grace, bringing their record for this year to 23-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.9 points over those games. As for Monticello, they moved to 24-5 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coming up, Totino-Grace will take on Denfeld on Tuesday. Monticello does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
