Camden took a 14-run loss the last time they faced off against Mid-Carolina, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Rebels 4-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Camden's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Mid-Carolina, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camden will take on Newberry in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Mid-Carolina, they will venture away from home to take on Spring Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rebels surely won't give up without a fight.
