Basketball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Greater Cabarrus S' Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Greater Cabarrus S unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the South Wake Sabres 64-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Stallions still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Greater Cabarrus S lost, don't look at Ashton Arrowood. Despite the final result, he posted 28 points. Arrowood's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Teddy Helton III was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Greater Cabarrus S' defeat dropped their record down to 28-10. As for South Wake, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 29-9.
