Volleyball Recap: Washington Union Comes Up Short

Washington Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Kingsburg Vikings, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since September 4th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-23.

Washington Union's loss dropped their record down to 8-16-1. As for Kingsburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington Union will head out to face off against Kerman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kingsburg, they will challenge Reedley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
