Recap: Elyria Catholic Panthers vs. Brunswick Blue Devils
The Elyria Catholic Panthers waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 52-41 victory over Brunswick.
Isabelle Niederst continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. Niederst is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Camara Ogletree, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Elyria Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Brunswick, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.
Elyria Catholic will be playing at home against Buckeye at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brunswick, they will head out on the road to challenge Mentor at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
