Volleyball Game Preview: Centennial Stars vs. Westerville Central Warhawks

Centennial is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Westerville Central a nine-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Centennial Stars will be playing at home against the Westerville Central Warhawks at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Centennial came up short against Tree of Life Christian and fell 3-1.

While Centennial ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 25-17, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Westerville Central didn't have quite enough to beat Big Walnut on Wednesday and fell 3-2.

Westerville Central actually scored more points across those five sets (109-107), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 19-25, 22-25, 16-14.

Westerville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
