Basketball Game Preview: International Community Comets vs. Admiral Farragut BlueJackets

Having just played yesterday, the International Community Comets will jump right back in to play the Admiral Farragut BlueJackets at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. International Community is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.3 points per game this season.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, International Community turned things around against Forest Lake Academy on Thursday. They managed a 47-41 win over the Panthers.

International Community's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamarie Lyce, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Grover, who earned ten points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, Admiral Farragut lost to Clearwater Central Catholic on the road by a 67-51 margin on Wednesday.

International Community will need focus on slowing down Kai Trunca, one of several Admiral Farragut players who made an impact when they last played. He had 12 points. Marco Antonio Cirne Lima Pereira was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Admiral Farragut's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for International Community, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. International Community hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 58.3 points per game. However, it's not like Admiral Farragut struggles in that department as they've been averaging 55.9 points.
