Ben Walsh Delivers Best Performance of Season

Ben Walsh produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Souderton to the win on Thursday. Walsh threw for 270 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes.

The win (which was Souderton's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Walsh and Souderton will head out on the road to challenge Council Rock North at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Marshall Came Up Big in Souderton's 35-6 Victory

Another Souderton player making an appearance on this list is Houston Marshall. He rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also made a tackle and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

This year, Marshall has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 58.2 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.88 rushing yards per game.

Martin Made His Presence Known in Quakertown's 54-14 Victory

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Brady Martin stepped things up a notch to give Quakertown the 'W'. Martin was dynamite, throwing for 146 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes.

For the season, Martin has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 190.9 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 37.3 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 97.05 passer rating.

Aiden Burgy Goes Supernova in Quakertown Win

Another Quakertown player making an appearance on this list is Aiden Burgy. He picked up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

This year, Burgy has caught 13 touchdowns while averaging 90 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 53.75 receiving yards per game.

Hunter Smeltz Turns in Season-Best Effort

Souderton was led to victory by Hunter Smeltz, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Smeltz picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Souderton: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

For the year, Smeltz has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 77 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 19.13 receiving yards per game.
