Greater Atlanta Christian waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Central Gwinnett Black Knights by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Greater Atlanta Christian was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-13.

Ella Paden paced Greater Atlanta Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Paden got some help from Madisen Campbell and her 12 assists. Valentina Cifuentes controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Greater Atlanta Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Central Gwinnett, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Greater Atlanta Christian has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Mill Creek on the 20th. As for Central Gwinnett, they will face off against Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
