Basketball Game Preview: Vidor Pirates vs. West Orange-Stark Mustangs

The Vidor Pirates will head out to face off against the West Orange-Stark Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vidor is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games.

Vidor will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Little Cypress-Mauriceville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Vidor took their game on Friday with ease, bagging an 84-31 victory over Little Cypress-Mauriceville. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-13.

Meanwhile, West Orange-Stark came up short against Little Cypress-Mauriceville two weeks ago and fell 56-47.

Vidor's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. As for West Orange-Stark, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Vidor and West Orange-Stark were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but Vidor came up empty-handed after a 65-64 loss. Can Vidor avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
