Volleyball Recap: Monte Vista Comes Up Short

Monte Vista and San Ysidro squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Monte Vista had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The Monarchs have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Ryan Nance was the offensive standout of the game as he had 22 digs and four assists.

Monte Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 23-13. As for San Ysidro, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-10.

As of now, neither Monte Vista nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
