Volleyball Recap: Bertrand Takes a Loss

Bertrand lost against Cambridge back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Trojans. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Livia Philips paced Bertrand's offense, picking up eight kills. Philips got some help from Addison Andersen and her 18 assists. Andersen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Bertrand's defeat dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Cambridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Bertrand didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Southern Valley on the 16th. As for Cambridge, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Arapahoe on the 16th.
